about

Post-discographical (2014) improvisational vocal exercises and outbursts as I was slowly attempting to work myself back into singing. The voice being used in this case is quite a bit more natural sounding than my Tendony tenor and shows the range in which I am most comfortable. After all that had happened in previous years, I became very anxious about singing, especially if I ever picked up a microphone and pressed Record, creating for excess tension in my neck, so I could only manage to sing in spontaneous, unscripted outbursts, usually during orgasm when my mind was distracted and euphoric. So I would just make a quick outburst into a handheld voice recorder and never listened again to the clips until all these years later. There are also some clips of melodies heard in dreams, while others are just testing out different styles or warbles. All of them are improvised with the exception of two snippets which are not original material (“I didn’t know which way to turn”, originally by Bryan Ferry, and the last verse from We Three Kings). You’ll notice that I actually seemed to have a bit more control of my low voice at this point, as well as my warbles, and I’m quite sad I would never get to make use of it. A few of these melodies did make it into songs from my mononymous project, though. Unfortunately my actions in early 2015 would be such as to thwart my progress and render me a mute for most of my remaining lifetime.

Leviyey

A selection of works taken from the bottomless vaults of Choir Korneli Leviyey (Tendon Levey)—a back-up, of sorts.
